bigronhartley Posted 1 November , 2006 Share Posted 1 November , 2006 Hello, I am trying to find out the career details of Lt Frank Calland (or Callard) Glover. Possibly a pre-war Territorial, he served with the 2nd Battln West Riding Regiment and was wounded in October, 1916. Post war, F C Glover appears to be with the 5th Battln Lancashire Fusiliers. Any help with Army List, London Gazette or Times entries which would help to chart his service/career would be most gratefully received. Thanking you in anticipation. bigronhartley Posted 1 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 1 November , 2006 Hello Lorac and Steve, Thanks very much for your swift response. The references have been very helpful. Ideally I'd like to find out what happened to him post war. I think he was on the strength of the 5th Lancashire Fusiliers, based in Bury, during the early 1920s. He may also have served in World War 2. Steve, do you have any sources relating to the role of the 45th Royal Fusiliers in Russia in 1919 ? Many thanks for your help. Can either of you please give me some idea of what the 45th Royal Fusiliers were doing in North Russia with Elope Force between 24/5/19 and 27/9/19. Are there any books, articles etc. that deal with this Campaign ? Thanks again for your help. Regards Ron
