PhilB Posted 1 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 1 November , 2006 Quite possible, Steve. Unless the North Surrey/Somerset/Staffs/Sussex had an undercover LI Bn!
6th Shropshires Posted 1 November , 2006 Share Posted 1 November , 2006 Hi Phil I can confirm it should be K.S.L.I. There are around about 170 men or so who trans. from K.S.L.I. to Middlesex Regiment, all seem to be from the 2nd & 8th Battalions, who were both station in Salonica. Also I believe this to be a late transfer because many of them are reported as wounded under K.S.L.I. as late as the November 1918 papers. Albert was from Oswestry.
