Put that wine glass to one side Egbert. We don't want any accidents.

Are you about to reveal the secrets of granddad's big album?

Ok guys I am closing for today. The area covered ranges from Ypres to Reims and everything in between.

Here is a 10.5 mB pic reduced for this forum to 97kB!!

Its a truly astonishing picture from an armoured battle plane flying in 300m with our photographer K.Doelle. If you zoom in the original you see the guys on the ground looking up, the Huns with joy the Limeys -sorry Froggies in fear

Hi Egbert, :)

It really is an excellent photo, Unfortunately zoom is not viable on the photo posted, so can't see the chaps looking up ! but take your word for it, and really wish I could see that !!

Cheers

Tim.

Bob @all: the treasure sits in a dark cellar of a - yes Bob you're right. Connections allow me to dig it out now where I discovered it 6 years ago. Today I scanned some 6 hours and I am still not half through. So far I have stored 1.5 gB. Depending on the size, each aerial is scanned at appr. 5-35 mB.

And Andy, the messenger dog is bored by the aerials.....

Last picture today;

Reims , a15.5 mB pic reduced to 85kB for posting in GWF. The details are stunning but will not be visible in that resolution. I cut and paste a snippet of harbour in stupidly low 35 kB. So you can imagine what the pics really reveal

Hello Egbert.

What fantastic material!

I for one cannot wait for you to share some of it with us. Lucky you.

Take another sip of wine, a deep breath and plough on! Easy on the Heart Attack fodder!

Great stuff, keep up the good work.

Regards.

Terry. W

Egbert, why are you drinking wine? When I was stationed in Hun land all my pals and I drank beer. :) And in our favorite gasthaus in Goppingen near my post your 13th was free! God knows how we went to work the next day but we did.

Great pictures, wish I could see all the details you can.
