Martin Bennitt Posted 29 October , 2006 Share Posted 29 October , 2006 Just a little heads up for pals living in France (how may are we by the way?). The Toute l'Histoire channel on cable and satellite has started showing a weekly series of half-hour items on aspects of the Great War, in conjunction with the Historial Museum at Peronne, with talking heads, archive film etc. Last week was tanks, including a visit to Deborah at Flesquières, this week is camouflage, which even madame found fascinating. Shown on Sundays about lunchtime, then repeated on other days of the week. cheers Martin B
uncle bill Posted 29 October , 2006 Share Posted 29 October , 2006 I don't get that channel. Are you recording them ?
Martin Bennitt Posted 29 October , 2006 Author Share Posted 29 October , 2006 I am, but only on my primeval VHS machine. I don't have DVD, same as I don't have a mobile phone, or a digital camera -- which is why I don't post pix on this forum, yet. cheers Martin B
