This has him as being from Liverpool so I am hoping someone who is researching the WW1 dead on one of Liverpool's memorials has come across this name in the WW2 entries.

I am trying to find info on this soldier as he died saving a friends fathers life and my friend wants to find where he is commemorated (and any info on him) so he can try visit the memorial with his name on it at some point (ideally Remembrance Day).

I suppose it depends on whether the family had his name put on a local memorial or just left it at Sage.
