AB64 Posted 28 October , 2006 Share Posted 28 October , 2006 Sorry to post a non WW1 question, but I was hoping someone out their may be able to help find which memorial this soldier is recorded on in the UK, his CWGC entry is here http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_detail...asualty=2074204 and his SNWM one here http://www.snwm.org/cgi-bin/db_w2.pl?funct...ew&id=10629 This has him as being from Liverpool so I am hoping someone who is researching the WW1 dead on one of Liverpool's memorials has come across this name in the WW2 entries. I am trying to find info on this soldier as he died saving a friends fathers life and my friend wants to find where he is commemorated (and any info on him) so he can try visit the memorial with his name on it at some point (ideally Remembrance Day). Thanks in advance Alistair
chaz Posted 28 October , 2006 Share Posted 28 October , 2006 I suppose it depends on whether the family had his name put on a local memorial or just left it at Sage. wait until Tony Denham pops in he may be able to find out. http://www.kosb.co.uk/ ask the museum
