I am researching my family tree and have found a sergeant in the CMC his name was Rufus A Reynolds. Can anyone tell me what the CMC might have been or what they did?

Many thanks in advance

Andrew

You can order his service record as weel. These are just his attestation (enlistment) papers.

You can find him via this link:

When you get to the page for him, there will be a link to order his service records.

Thank you so much!

I will order them as soon as I work out the convoluted ordering process. Do you have any information about the corp? I now know that he joined up for the duration and it appears he lied about his age, he was almost 19 but I wonder why he said he was 21, was there some perks to being 21?

thanks

Andrew
