Lost in Tilloy Posted 24 October , 2006 Share Posted 24 October , 2006 Hi Keith A very interesting article. I had 6 relatives that served in the Great War. Five were killed and ironically the one who survived had the most disasterous start as he was involved in the Gretna disaster. He suffered broken shoulders and injuries to his legs. He recovered enough to rejoin the 7th Royals in Gallipoli and went on to serve with them through Egypt, Palestine and the Western Front without being wounded again.
