Chris_Baker Posted 23 October , 2006 Share Posted 23 October , 2006 308131 Pte William Agnew, 12th King's (Liverpool Regiment). "Soldiers Died" says he was killed on 30 November 1917 - makes sense, as his battalion was clobbered in the German counter attack at Cambrai that day. But can I find him on CWGC database? I can not. I've tried everything - mispellings, guessing he might be on the Louverval memorial, etc without any joy. All ideas welcome.

John_Hartley Posted 23 October , 2006 Share Posted 23 October , 2006 All ideas welcome. One for Terry's Overseas Deaths Register. If he's there, then he's definately a non-commem. John
Terry Denham Posted 23 October , 2006 Share Posted 23 October , 2006 He is not is the CWGC list. He does appear on the GRO Overseas List under Ref No. I.20.15. If you care to get the death certificate, Chris, maybe the Forum could find its way to helping you to get this man recognised !!
