Can anyone give more precise details as to the badge in the attached file?

Is it American, British or possibly Canadian from latter in the war?

Who made it, where was it made, who wore it, etc....?

Looks to be Canadian,it may well have a maker's name & address/country, on the reverse.?

Not sure since it is still in the mail on its way to me! I do NOT think though that there is anything on the back!
