PhilB Posted 20 October , 2006 Share Posted 20 October , 2006 I bought my first 1/7/16 trio and plaque (1st Lancs Fus) for £10 back in 1970. Most medal collectors thought we were daft for buying WW1 medals as they would "always be far less valuable than real (ie Victorian) medals". And people wondered about Hal Giblin`s sanity when he bought a Welsh Gds Loos KIA trio for £100. How times have changed! Phil B
Peter B Posted 20 October , 2006 Share Posted 20 October , 2006 Sold for £101.99 Winning bidder could be a relative not a very common name, only 4 on GWGC, 3 WW1 and 1WW2
