I bought my first 1/7/16 trio and plaque (1st Lancs Fus) for £10 back in 1970. Most medal collectors thought we were daft for buying WW1 medals as they would "always be far less valuable than real (ie Victorian) medals". And people wondered about Hal Giblin`s sanity when he bought a Welsh Gds Loos KIA trio for £100. How times have changed! Phil B

it was a bargain really -seen them alot higher

gone are the days you could get a welsh gds dcm mm trio for £300 (mid eighties)

and a loaf for 2/6d.

the availability of researching from your own home on the na site has shoved the price of medals higher and higher. ebay has not helped either one way or other
