Dragon Posted 20 October , 2006 Share Posted 20 October , 2006 Thank you, Michael. I’ve saved the site to revisit. I had a look at the Alsace section, which is often overlooked. I particularly enjoyed seeing again the poster depicting soldiers on a hillside looking wistfully at Strasbourg cathedral’s characteristic silhouette in the distance, defiantly surmounted with a French flag. It’s impossible for me to be in the foothills of the Vosges on a day when you can see across the plain as far as Strasbourg and not think of this image, especially as the evidence of the two World Wars is poignantly prominent in the region.
