Hello,

Has anyone looked through this group of French and Belgium Death Certificates at the NA? I have read thay they are for British service personel who died in ''Hospitals or elsewhere outside the immediate war zone ''

If you have can you please post and example or tell me if they give details of how the person passed away other than 'Died of Wounds' etc.

I've never seen this set of Documents but they are listed in the book'' PRO Readers Guide no.2, Army Records for the Family Historians, by Simon Fowler'', on page 48.

Thanks for looking,

Stewart

Hello,

Has no body looked through this group of certificates? I just wonder what details the French and Belgium's recorded about how the soldiers died. Someone must have seen them.

Regards,

Stewart

For Scottish records, I have always looked under Minor Records on Scotlands People. Bit of an insult though, minor records...

Any one used or seen these, or know where to access them now?
