From what you say I imagine it must be of similar format to After The Battles' large book on the Battle of Britain, which I have seen a copy of and thought was excellently done. I agree with what you say about 1940 being fascinating for the reappearance of combat troops from the belligerent nations of 1914-18 back on some of their old stamping grounds. Hugh Sebag-Montefiore picks up on the tide of the second war revisiting some of the sites of the first in his excellent Dunkirk: Fight to the Last Man from 2006. ciao, GAC Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
