Terry Posted 12 October , 2006 Share Posted 12 October , 2006 I have just won a single 1914-15 star on ebay, to 33626 Pte.R.Plues,Welsh Regiment. A check of the London Gazette reveals that he was awarded the Military Medal (16 Aug.,1917 LG supplement). Would any of the Pals know first, which battalion he may have served in, and second, possibly which battle his MM was for? Cheers, Terry
Bernard_Lewis Posted 12 October , 2006 Share Posted 12 October , 2006 Not aware of any 14th bn men with a number in the 33000s. But I don't have a complete list. I do have 30s, 35s and 37s. Bernard
