Tom Morgan Posted 11 October , 2006 Share Posted 11 October , 2006 A lady has emailed me to ask for help in finding out where an ancestor lived. The family of the ancestor are said to have "left England after a German Dirigible Airship or Zeppelin was shot down in a field on their 60 acre estate situated in the Cotswolds". Obviously, if the location of the shooting-down of the Zeppelin can be pinpointed, then that's where the lady's ancestors lived. I don't know of an airship being shot down in the Cotswolds. Does anyone know different? Tom

Tom Morgan Posted 9 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 9 November , 2006 Thanks, Theo. I've never heard of any Cotswolds one, either! Tom
