Hello

Can anyone enlighten me if any records are available for the above.

My grandfather was at le treport and returning in May 1916 and then at aldershot

Maybe a long shot but try dropping a line to the Curator of the Aldershot Military Museum, Hants. They do have a small achieve there, he may be able to help or point you in the right direction.

I think we have discussed Le Treport before. As I remember, although members have posted some interesting stuff, there is no obvious pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

However, No. 2 Canadian General Hospital was at Le Treport most of the War. A description of their existing records is here . Unfortunately, one must go to darkest Ottawa to see the stuff.

The War Diaries of this unit are on-line, however, here . As with most such diaries, they seldom mention individual casualties. You might find them interesting, though.
