Would anyone have any info on Thomas Munnerley-1/8 Kings-proceeded on 2/9/1915-served France-service number 004237-Military Medal-gazetted 27/10/16-1/8 KLR-Has anybody seen the gazette?-I cannot seem to find it-does anybody have pictures or has anybody bought his medal/s? I am new to the forum and would welcome any feedback whatsoever.

I assume that by 1/8 KLR you mean the 1/8th Battalion of the King's Liverpool Regiment (known as The Liverpool Irish).

Your query concerning the London Gazette for the Military Medal award is addressed by looking in the record ZJ1/637 at the National Archives,which lists all MM awards for October 1916,or there may be Mates on this Forum who can find it for you - hold your breath and count to 10........well,maybe a few more than that.
