Tom A McCluskey Posted 9 October , 2006 Share Posted 9 October , 2006 Hi all, I was wondering if any of the pals who have access to the 1901 census could please look up Patrick Crossan on the 1901 census? His death notification in the Dundee People's Journal has him as living at: 4 St David's Lane Dundee. Patrick Crossan was killed on the 3rd September 1916, with the 4/5th Bn The Black Watch at the Somme. In advance, Many Thanks Aye Tom McC

Tom A McCluskey Posted 9 October , 2006 Author Share Posted 9 October , 2006 Doris, Not sure as it is spelt different, and is born in Dundee according to the SDGW. His Death Certificate states he was born in Scotland. I was hoping he would be on the census for Scotland: Thanks so far Doris Aye Tom McC

Tom A McCluskey Posted 12 October , 2006 Author Share Posted 12 October , 2006 Doris, Many thanks for the excerpts from the census. The 17 year old millworker from Dundee looks a likely candidate. I will look a bit further into this next time I am in Dundee. Yours Aye Tom McC
