1st battalion surrey riffles

hello

ihave adeath cert of my grandfather but cant seem to get any details his name was

malcolm bonner morgan

staff sergerant,651053,accountant

1st surrey riffles,london

but i can trace how long he was in the army for and were he was stationed,he died on the 14 november1918

age 45,can anyone help with this please thank you

This Regiment was the 21st County of London Regiment - Territorials based in Camberwell. If you look under 21st London you may have more luck.

It became an anti-aircraft unit between the wars and moved out to the suburbs (I think Esher). They were one of the earliest volunteer units in Greater London formed by "the gentlemen of the Peckham Rifle Club" in, I think, 1859

had alook but couldnt find anything he was born 1871-1918 is there anywere else i can look for information,when he died it was at 203 cambwell new road,is that ahospital as the lady named present at his death was jenny bradley,and that was,nt my grandmother as i think she was already dead,thank you for your help
