Boshell, Ernest Stephen Corps: 1st Royal Berkshire Regiment/ Hampshire Regiment, No: 5373 Rank: Company Quarter Master Serjeant/Lieutenant and Quarter Master Emblems - when was he Mentioned in Dispatches? Boshell, Francis Sydney Corps: Depot Royal Berkshire Regiment Rank: Captain and Quarter Master Distinguished Service Order - supplement of 30/5/1919 Military Cross when - was it gazetted? The Mentioned in Dispatches MIC says LG 22/6/1915 (I didn't find it with Gazette Online), did he get any others? Boshell, Hugh Thomas Barron Corps: Highland Light Infantry Rank: Second Lieutenant/ Captain Rumoured to have won a DSO - did he? mac Posted 7 October , 2006 Share Posted 7 October , 2006 Steve You may be interested to know that I have included Boshell in the latest Royal Berkshire photographic book (1743-1914) (comes out this week) via the RGBW Regimental Museum at Salisbury (The Wardrobe). In the first book (1914 - 1959) I did for the museum I included a photo of Boshells son getting his DSO from Mountbatten. Thier is a fiar amount on the Boshells in the Regimental Journal 'China Dragon'. I think you ought to send an enquiry to the Regt Museum, you might strike it lucky.
