I am trying to track down as much info on the the 5th Bn in Sept/Oct 1918 when my great Uncle was serving with the Bn. He was 2/LT N HOLDEN Welsh Regt attached SWB. He was wounded 19/20 Oct 1918 and DOW 10 days later. Any help much appreciated. If any member has any photos that they are prepared to scan and send to me of the Bn around thios period I would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Mark

This is my first post, so apologies for any procedural errors.

I have a few biographical details of your great uncle, 2/Lt Norman Holding, mainly drawn from an item in the Western Mail published shortly after his death. If you haven't seen this, I'd be happy to pass it on.

Regards

Aneurin
