afternoon everyone

hope you don't think this posting is waste of space,i recently visited the Tudor Rose Restaurant in Helmsley ,Thirsk North Yorkshire on the far wall to the left is a display of medals 20 or so all the medals were WW1 (i think not a expert)they range from SWB -Victoria cross most had a few words with them name, reg, rank, etc.A couple were missing which according to the lady i spoke to "had been claimed by family" might be worth a look if ever in the area (plus they do good grub) you never know what you might find
