Guest Simon Bull Posted 4 November , 2003 Share Posted 4 November , 2003 Can anyone please tell me where, in the area of Ypres, "Apple Villa" was? I have seen it referred to in the War Diary of C. Battalion of the Tank Corps as marking the only place at which 8 Company of the Battalion were able to cross the Steenebeke when they were in action on 21-22 August 1917. Ken Lees Posted 4 November , 2003 Share Posted 4 November , 2003 Simon, It's not far from Pommern Castle. Again it's on the St Julien map (28NW2), ENE of Wieltje. Ken
