HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 29 August , 2006 Share Posted 29 August , 2006 A snippet on a page of the Biggleswade Chronicle,of 7th May 1915,kindly forwarded in resposne to a Cambridgeshire Regiment quest;was this:~ Referring to who was apparently @ the time the tallest Officer in the British Army~Captain J.Harrison Horse Guards,from King's Walden, Bury,Hertfordshire.who suceeded another Hertfordshire Officer Major O.Ames 2nd Life Guards.
