I'm doing a show for english hertiage next week at old sarum (somme 90)Sorry its a bit short notice, leaveing on sunday..

As i'm doing my Artillery Mule thing, and E.H. are trying to focus on local interest.

Any one know what/who the local T.A. units of artillery where, and what they did..

18 pnder's would be very usefull as thats the kit i have on show..

Cheers Andy Smerdon.

They were sent to India.

This thread may help.

Local Wiltshire VC winner was posted from 3rd Wessex Bde to 51st Div DAC. He delivered the ammo to the guns.

My thread

Hopefully see you at Old Sarum.

Thank you guys..Owen, make yourself know to me please..i'll be the one to the right of the mule (normally)

Think the easiest role to take will be that of a gunner from larkhill still local, and no dates, names, places to forget..

But all very usefull stuff. cheers.
