Chris Best Posted 14 August , 2006 Share Posted 14 August , 2006 Michael Thank you so much for all this work. I'm particularly interested in the Medical and Dental Services and this is great stuff. Is there a way (do you know) by which one can save these documents as single, contiguous files thus avoiding opening a page a time? One downside. My rationale for a long trip to Ottawa's just been blown! Chris
GrandsonMichael Posted 14 August , 2006 Author Share Posted 14 August , 2006 Is there a way (do you know) by which one can save these documents as single, contiguous files thus avoiding opening a page a time? Yes Sir! My co-member at the CEF Study Group Forum, Marc Leroux, has developed a nifty program, LAC Extract, for downloading War Diary entries in an easy and quick manner. It is not fool proof but that is because the Library and Archives Canada have made rather a mess of things. Sometimes the entries are not arranged in a sequential order. Cheers, Michael P.S. Sorry about Ottawa...
Borden Battery Posted 28 December , 2006 Share Posted 28 December , 2006 This is a good source for researching any Canadian medical acitions and some officers during the Great War. Borden Battery
