jamiemcginlay Posted 6 August , 2006 Share Posted 6 August , 2006 Just came across a picture I took around ten years ago I thought might be of interest. Its of the plaque for the Belgian Tree planted by refugees in Glasgow's Queen's Park in 1917. Unfortunately the tree had died the year before I took the picture and I had to ask one of the parkies to dig the plaque out of their workshops (where it was lying in a corner for scrap wood) so that I could take the photograph. I meant to try to do something about it but forgot. It seems a shame a replacement tree was never planted.
healdav Posted 7 August , 2006 Share Posted 7 August , 2006 How about sending the photo to Patrick de Wolf. I'm sure he would be dleighted to know about this.
