Line Infantry with quite a long name.

Can you do a blow up of the shoulder title of the man looking towards the camera?

I'll guess 4th Worcesters. They are also wearing a dark-coloured traingles, as worn by the 29th Division, and the 4th Worcs were in 88 Bde in that Divn; the Worcesters wore a very long, curved, shoulder title.

But I could be wrong <_<

The Northamptonshire Regiment;Monmouthshire Regiment & Cambridgeshire Regiment also have long curved titles like these?

I cannot think of any others{Infantry}

Cigar for Mr Broomfield. It is the 4th Worcesters, at Louvencourt. I use that pic on my banner at the top of all the pages at the Long, Long Trail.

My normally photographic memory is fading...i have seen a bigger picture somewhere, the soldier closest is holding a large pair of wire cutters..please tell me thats the case.
