My Grandfather was in the A.S.C. - Details I know are as follows

George Munro

Driver T-34302

He was awarded 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal

He told me he was part of the Indian Expeditionary Force

Is there anyway I can find out which company he was in, and possibly trace his movements through the war?

Have you got his medal index card? It may tell you some useful info on that.

If not, you can use the reference numbers on that to look at the medal rolls - additional info on them.

Also look for his service documents - you might be lucky and find them. Spend a day at the National Archives - it is fun.

See the "Long, Long Trail" link above.
