Gotha Crash listed as nr Wickford in Essex

Hello 

 

As per one of the replies, I also remember my dad pointing some kind of memorial in the fields outside Wickford. My dad always said it was the airship that was shot down. My dad being one for hiking, walked to the memorial, and told me it was an aircraft propeller.
