You can find a short history of this division at http://www.1914-1918.net/18div.htm. For a more extensive account of the division, you may want to consult the published divisional history, which was recently reprinted by the Naval and Military Press. (You can find the book at http://www.naval-military-press.com/FMPro?...et.htm&-new ) As the author of this history was a gunner officer, it is quite possible that he mentions the man you are researching.
