Tony Lund Posted 2 July , 2006 Share Posted 2 July , 2006 I am looking for the whereabouts of the 23rd Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, 102nd Brigade, 34th Division, on Thursday 7th June 1917. A Holmfirth man serving with them was severely wounded by shrapnel and died of wounds at the dressing station a few hours later in the same day. He was buried at Bailleul Road East Cemetery, St. Laurent-Blangy. Many thanks for any information. Tony.
