HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 16 June , 2006 Share Posted 16 June , 2006 The badge appears to be Army Service Corps{a Garter Star with an Imperial Crown @ the top, with ASC in the centre} The badge of the Notts & Derbyshire Regt is a Crowned Cross with Scroll [possibly he transferred to the N&D from the ASC or vice ~versa] If he didn't serve Overseas then it is unlikely that a Medal Index Card is in existence;as No Medals=No Card was needed
Andrew Hesketh Posted 16 June , 2006 Share Posted 16 June , 2006 That is definitely not a Notts & Derby cap badge.
Anthony Bagshaw Posted 16 June , 2006 Share Posted 16 June , 2006 He may have transferred to the Sherwood Foresters in some point or even transferred to this Regiment previously bein a Forester As Andrew says, definitely not a Forester, sorry
