steenie Posted 22 April , 2009 Share Posted 22 April , 2009 hi, found the same spot as the bit but not at the same time. joe. The Caltrop looks nasty!!!. Soon put a horse or of that matter a soft wheeled vehicle out of action, Well, I got the 6'' PMR from Eldonian. A beautifully finished bit. But, they had eased out the cheek piece rings as you find on a moderrn pelham!!! This justs makes it a one sided bit and not reversible. Today, i had my farrier straighten out the offending rings so now it can be used. I am still trying to dig up some info on that bit above, or maybe a photograph with it in use. Guest Posted 29 January , 2019 Share Posted 29 January , 2019 Circa 1964 The Kings Troop RHA PMR (Universal Pattern Port-Mouth Reversible Elbow bit) Note lower elbow link used for lower draw rain very unusual normally would be attached to the upper of the two links possible as this rider is no ordinary Gunner (if there is such a thing) Anyone know who he is? Sgt RS (Ben) Jones later to win an Olympic Gold Medal in 1968 Mexico.
