Audax Posted 4 June , 2006 Share Posted 4 June , 2006 Harts Army list of 1915 has a Second Lieutenant A H Hutchinson (on probation) serving wth 3rd Battalion KOYLI date of commission 15th August 1914. Hutchinson so I'm wondering if the T has been misread and written as a J in the Gazette. Can't find anything in the Gazette for Harry though. London Gazette #29787, dated 18th October 1916. War Office, 18th October 1916. REGULAR FORCES. The undernamed Warrant Officers, Noncommissioned Officers and Men to be temp. 2nd Lts. (on prob.), with effect from the dates shown: SERVICE BATTALIONS.
