Tried that, didn't return any results.

Also when I tried W Stone with artillery as the keyword, it gave me loads of hits - but not him.

It must be a conspiracy...

Thanks again

I've only just caught this thread, and it's great to see that there are so many of you out there willing to list your medal or whatever recipiants. Congratulations Tom on starting the ball rolling.

I gave up collecting medals years ago, but if I were still in the running, my listing would be here also.

Well done all concerned.

Per Mare, Per Terram.

Many thanks for all the listings guys and gals.

The museum hardy opens now as I have taken all my items out. It is still the famine and war Museum in St Marys Church in Thurles. My connection with it has now broken. I have to admit due to bad health my interest in collecting has dimished and I intend to off load my collection on Saturday at the fair in the Teachers Club 36 Parnell Square in Dublin from 11am. This will mean that the names I have listed in these threads will no longer be available.

Such is life, my priorities are different now.

Regards.

Tom.

Such a pity, I would have liked to see it, I found an interesting Tipp website recently whilst searching for details of a relative killed in france. http://homepage.eircom.net/~tipperaryfame/index.html There was talk of a museum being started with reference to the old barracks, but I'm not to sure how far they got.
