I started it but Kevin is THE man who keeps it all in order. Respect to the man. Of course all credit is also due to the posters on the forum, without whom this project would not be possible.

Well done guys!!.

Kind regards.

Tom.

Guest KevinEndon

There are now 2034 entries on this list. Could pals tell us if they find a re-unite through this list or if a relative asks for information on a medal, infact could you please share with us anything that comes out of the list.

Many thanks Tom for the praises but it's a piece of cake really, now that it's all in order, and I can keep on top of it,

Kevin.

Good man Kevin. I can confirm that the medal to Newton who served as Sumner has been given to his family so it is no longer on the list. 'Giving' a medal to a family was the donors choice and is in no way to be construed as advice should someone show an interest in your medals or awards. Be careful out there and again I stress. THERE IS NOTHING FOR SALE ON THIS BOARD. Its just a list of awards that exist at a given moment and listed out of the goodness of the present owners. If you see an award and have something to say about it contact the poster and take it from there. As Kevin says it would be nice if there were some good news stories to come from our little effort. If that is so let us know, we're only human and like a bit of good news.

Kind regards.

Tom.

The complete list of existing awards to men, be it a certificate, medal plaque etc held by myself and other forum members are on page 14 of this topic. The entire list is managed by the tireless efforts of Kevinaka1888. The list got a bit corrupted when guys posted awards and then deleted their post so the original reference is lost. It has now been brought up to date again by Kevin. If you decide to delete your posting please let Kevin know so he can update the list and keep it current.

Remember this is not a wants topic, there is nothing offered for sale here. This list contains awards, medals etc to ww1 personnel held at the time of posting by forum pals who should be applauded for doing so. I had asked some medal dealers to add their list, they talked the talk but did not walk the walk. If you wish to contact anyone regarding the items in their possession and come to some arrangement then the best of luck to you.

I will say it again, there is nothing for sale here.

Finally a big thank you to the tireless efforts of Kevin for keeping it all listed in alphabetical order.

The complete list is on page 14.

Regards.

Tom, and Kevin.
