Just to let you guys over the pond know that a tunic, cap, letters and a box of ammo form the Spad flown by your No.1 Air Ace Capt Eddie Rickenbacker is due to be auctioned by James D Julia of Portsmouth, New Hampshire at their next sale on October 6-8. Their website is www.juliaauctions.com

They are also selling the uniform of Sgt Ray Bridgeman of the Lafayette Esquadrille. This has family provenance.
