I am having trouble identifying these two soldiers - I have them in the 1901 census for Pauntley, Glos and thought I had matched them up from CWG records but their residences on look-up seem wrong. Can anyone tell me where the following enlisted/lived?

Private H J Lane No 44418 Somerset Light Infantry - died 29.6.18

Private F J Leighton No SD/2031 Royal Sussex Regt - died 20.11.17

Thanks

Thanks for this - that's the right H J Lane - born in Dymock and later moved to Pauntley. So pleased to have tracked him down at last! I must still have the wrong F Leighton as he should have been born in Pauntley - I will need to try and narrow his name down a bit I think.

Thanks for your help.
