Hello John,

Would love to take up your kind offer, I am looking into a Captain John Lindsay Lyle of the Royal Irish Rifles he came from Glenavy in County Antrim and if you can throw any light on him it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

You were spot on, not a Captain but by 1918 a Sgt serving with the 11th Battalion so any info on John would be fantastic.

Best wishes,

Rob
