A pal has just posted photos of the Airdrie High School War memorial and it includes AGNES C McDONALD, QUEEN MARY'S NURSES. The Inspector Posted 3 December , 2016 Share Posted 3 December , 2016 (edited) Hi Her full name was Agnes Curran McDonald, died Victoria Hospital Folkestone on 2nd June 1917 (? 1st), aged 22yrs, buried 13th June at Cheriton Road Cemetery, grave No,1874 Section C. She was injured in the Air raid on Friday, 25th May 1917. Regards Barry Agnes Curran McDonald was born 13th Jan1896 in Ontario, Canada, one of 5 children, parents John and Elizabeth nee Wesson born Somerby, Leicestershire, England. married 10th June 1891, Simcoe, Ontario.
