Remembered Today:

Capt Harvey-James

Captain EK Harvey-James appears in the Buffs 14/15 medal roll. He embarked on 10/10/15 (F&F) and was killed in action on 15/4/17.

The trouble is... I can't find him on Officers Died, CWGC or even PROCAT.

2 other officers were killed on that day, both 1st Bn

Does anyone have an Army List for the period that will tell me which Battalion he was in ?

Could the first initial be wrong....?

There is a Captain ARTHUR KEEDWELL HARVEY JAMES on the CWGC.

Put Harvey in the search engine and he's on the last page.

Thats the chap. I woke up this morning and wondered why I didn't bother checking the regimental history. I took a look and it confirms what you say - the medal roll is (probably) wrong. Thanks for looking
