'A' number prefix on KRRC?

It was a prefix given to early wartime recruits to the KRRC. Dont think it has any other significance. gareth

The A prefix in the KRRC denotes Army Reservists (Original Number Reallocated) or Army Reservists (Discharged from the Reserve and Reenlisted.

Number Range A/1 threu A/3919

Or in case of the longer numbers

Men posted from the Training Reserve Battalions

Number Range A/200000 thru A/205598
