Hi, I am constructing a roll of the ORs of 7th Siege Bty RGA who are entitled to 1914-15 Star. I have completed the Roll for the 1914 Star and it is attached to the Units war Diary posted to this site. I am having problems finding which PRO records I should be looking at can anyone help me?

Terry,

From my experience you will find the rolls for the 1914 Star more detailed for the branches of the RA (& ASC) and it may not be a case of accessing one roll to complete your study! One route may be to access the war diary (WO 95) and see if they have a muster list of the Battery members pre 31 December 1915, eliminate those with a 1914 star and work backwards by checkingthe rolls.
