Help! In need of assistance! I need to find out whether Charing Cross Hospital had a train station underneath it, which transported injured soldiers directly to the hospital

As far as I know, Charing Cross station had an hotel as its frontage and an iron and glass roof. I believe the Charing Cross Hospital to have been a different establishment.

Charing Cross Hospital was a short distance away from Charing Cross Station on the other side of The Strand.

It is possible I suppose that there was a subway from the station to the hospital; one exit from Charing Cross Underground Station comes out directly opposite where the hospital used to be.
