Arthur Posted 27 January , 2003 Share Posted 27 January , 2003 Tim, 16th [irish] Divisional Signal Company, R. E. They were stationed in Ireland during October 1914. The Unit left Ireland and the Division on the 9th. August 1915 and went to Southampton where they later embarked for France. On the 16th. August 1915 they landied at Le Harve and joined the Guard's Division on 18th. August 1915. 26th.-30th. August 1918: Battle of the Scarpe, Second Battles of Arras. VI. Corps, III. Army.
