Salonika WWI

Whilst reaerching my Family Tree, a story of my Great Grandfather returning home from Salonika on hearing his children were ill/dying from the flu. Both children died within a fortnight of each other in Novemebr 1918. Is there any way I can use this info to find his war record, the only info I have is:

Name: Frederick Charles Carter

Theatre: Salonika

Residence:Wiltshire

You can always visit the PRO and look for his record in WO 363 or 364, if it survived the Arnside St fire of 1940. Try using the PROCAT on the web. It should give you the codes for the reels with the Carters on. Just because you can't see his name, it doesn't mean his file is/isn't there.
