He answered kitcheners call for men on aug 27th 1914, the next day he was sent to newcastle from his home in newstead, notts, and 2 days later to borden camp where he recieved his training, then he was sent to bulford camp in salisbury plaines, after which he was drafted to france, date on MIC is 7/7/15, after a while he recieved treatment at Le Treport hospital france for a fortnight, then sent to england, st john's and st elizebeth's hospital for an operation, from there he went to Piershall barracks in Edinburgh, and then he went to head quarters at woolwich, he then went to Salonika, then Malta, then back to Salonika, would anyone have any idea what regiment or battallion he would have been in, Thank you.

His corps is the Royal Field Artillery, he was a driver, and his artillery brigade and battery are unknown. What was his service number?

Try looking up which RFA units served Salonika, that should narrow it down to a couple of divisions at least. Someone will probably oblige if you ask nicely.....

Thank you very much for your reply, being new to this, it is most appreciated, i don't have his service no. but have his regm't no. (not sure if these are the same), 90265, and also 90256 or last digit may be a 0, if anyone could give any more information it would be very helpful, thank you.
