He was born in Bognor and enlisted in Chichester. Paul Reed Posted 31 December , 2005 Author Share Posted 31 December , 2005 I have been the custodian of George Mills 1914/15 trio for something like 20 years now. In those far off days when I lived in Bognor, I used to drink in the Lamb Inn in Steyne Street, which was just round the corner from Chapel Street, where George grew up. I often used to pass his house. The family grave is in Bognor cemetery, and mentions his father, sister and brother, Jesse - but not him. Ninety years on, remembering...
