Christmas Forum Quiz

Hi Tom,

That would be great. I printed out the quiz and got stuck into it, here and there, whilst staying at my parents over Christmas. I don't think my score will be very high! I didn't have any time to 'google', so it would be interesting to see how many I got without using that. Although, over the next few days I think I will be 'googling' alot! Its some of the pictures that I found hard. Think I should of got the forum related questions OK.

Great idea, I have enjoyed it.

Alie.

Tom.

Thanks for doing such a great quiz - you realise we now expect you to do one every year!!

Good job I didn't do this for A levels - it would have been an E grade.

Thanks again.

Thanks Tom. Especially good that you included questions about our valued and interesting Pals in Belgium , Uk and around the globe. Cripes, even LB1418 is now a quiz question ! But then I always thought he was a puzzle :D

I'm surprised how little I know.

I was even wrong on some of the questions I was so certain of that I didnt bother to Google.

And I'm not disclosing a score either.

Great quiz Tom.

Really enjoyed it and I hope there is another next year. (gives you plenty time to prepare).

Maybe by then I will have learned something

I googled a lot and thought I had done well. :(

Question 69 for instance I had down Otto Liman von Sanders or Oskar Potiorek  . And I had seen this photo recently.

Ah well just goes to show......no matter how often we come onto the forum and no matter how many times we ask!!!!.....we learn something every day.

Cheers Tom

And a gid new year tae wan and a'

Great quiz Tom

Thanks for putting it together, did not realise that I that I knew so little about the Great War :(

Look forward to next years quiz.

I am VERY pleased that we can now spell Passendale in the new form rather than Pach?????????.

Also question 82 was very interesting, A hero at Verdun and a collabarator in the 2nd world war.

Cheers and best wishes for the New Year

Paul
